Learning to read has the power to transform a child's life. Not only does it improve their academic success for years to come, but their life success too. At Read To Succeed, we are on a mission to both teach children to read and inspire a love of reading.
This holiday season, we are asking for your help to support the hundreds of volunteer tutors we train to work with K to 3rd-grade students in our local schools. Your generous gift will help spread the magic of reading and change a child's life forever.

This is what Read To Succeed is all about:
Joseph was a 1st-grade student reading at a pre-kindergarten level when hiis school referred him to Read To Succeed, and he was matched with his tutor, Bill. During that year, Joseph made slow but steady progress. At the end of 1st grade, he had made progress, but was still far below grade level proficiency. Throughout 2nd grade, Joseph and Bill worked together to catch him up with his classmates. Bill knew that reading at grade level by the end of 3rd grade was critical.
Here is what Bill reported after their last 3rd-grade meeting. “He made it! Grade level, plus! In the last 3 or 4 months, he really took off. His Dad says he is reading everything, even the milk cartons!”
